Dear Milletians,
In short, the Over the Rainbow Event will be temporarily disabled as we make a few corrections to the Leprechauns. There has been a very positive reception to this event, and we want to make sure to return it as quickly as we can while maintaining the good vibes.
To share further details, several issues were occurring in various areas of the event relating to the rarities of the Leprechauns, the interactions with weekly limits and keys, and rarer circumstances that could cause no Leprechauns to spawn or no rewards to drop. Additionally and most notably for the purposes of this disabling, our intention was to provide better chances to encounter Leprechauns with higher rarity in more difficult dungeons so that players would challenge these dungeons, but we found that Uladh Dungeons had better efficiency, resulting in players focusing on Uladh Dungeons rather than other dungeons.
When the event returns, the following changes will be made and we will also be addressing other existing bugs related to the event. Rather than decreasing rates for Uladh Hard Mode Dungeons, we will be adding a set number of Leprechaun encounter chances per week for each dungeon type. Instead, to make it more rewarding for you to tackle more difficult dungeons, we will be raising the rates for rarer grade Leprechauns for Tech Duinn and Crom Bás. While we are happy that players are spending a lot of time with the event, we hope that the limits are a compromise to allow for higher rates while freeing players up to try out other new updates and events that our summer patches have to offer, such as the new Generation storyline, attempting Brí Leith with your friends and guildmates, or even participating in the several Milletian-ran events that are occurring this month!
This will take some time to confirm the stability of these changes and the event overall, but we will try to implement these changes and resume the event as soon as possible. We thank you for your patience and understanding during this time. We will also be extending the event window to ensure that you have as much time as possible for slaying the Leprechauns, and we will update you with more information on the webpost as we have more details to share.
